Description
Nanosaurus skull dinosaur replica measures 6.0 x 3.0 x 3.5 inches. Nanosaurus agilis skull is museum-quality polyurethane resin cast. 2-part skull (seperate cranium and mandible). 1:1 scale. Made in USA.
Nanosaurus agilis was a small, bipedal dinosaur from the Late Jurassic. It reached lengths of about 6.6 feet and weighed roughly 22 pounds. Scientists identified it by its short forelimbs and long hind limbs, which featured large attachments for strong muscles. The skull remains poorly understood; however, the body is known from several nearly complete skeletons.
The dinosaur possessed a small head with leaf-shaped cheek teeth. These teeth had small ridges and denticles along the edges. Like related dinosaurs Hypsilophodon and Thescelosaurus, Nanosaurus also had thin cartilaginous plates along its ribs.
