The western hoolock gibbon is from India, Bangladesh, and Myanmar. The known range spans from Assam, Mizoram, Meghalaya, and areas west of the Chindwin River.

They have black faces with white fur over their eyes that look like bushy eyebrows. Males have a black hair all over their bodies. Females have a different look, with light brown or grey-brown fur. They have very long arms for swinging through the high branches easily.

Wet evergreen forests, and mountain areas with thick treetops provide the needed shelter. Loud, long duet songs echo through the trees when pairs call out.

Broad-leaved treetops offer excellent feeding spots for ripe fruits, flowers, leaves, and shoots. Their diets also include silkworms, ants, and various other insects.

Rainy seasons trigger a high consumption of insects alongside Jack fruit. Critical seed droppings across the rainforest depend heavily on these feeding habits.

Wayne, the western hoolock gibbon skull is fascinated with motor-cycles. He just bought his first Harley-Davidson and is ready to ride. The salesman threw in a complete set of high-quality black-leather riding gear, including the boots.

Sam, the Siamang gibbon male skull replica, is a show-off to-the-max. He zips past his friends, going 110 miles per hour with no hands.

Andy, the Bornean orangutan male skull replica, is like a real-live teddy bear. He spends his entire free-time off collecting teddy bears for the tots.

William, the white-handed gibbon monkey skull replica, well, he is the rowdy one, he likes to pound Jack Danielles down like water. After he has had his fill of Jack, he jumps into the natural hot springs to chill for the night.

They had a great male-bonding trip, thankfully did not run across any cops like Officer John from the hit movie Wild Hogs!

International Monkey Day - December 14th

International Monkey Day has been created to celebrate monkeys on December 14th, as well as “all things simian,” which includes lemurs, tarsiers, apes, and other non-human primates. It is a great day when it comes to raising awareness about different types of monkeys and primates around the world, as well as the issues they face and how we can help them.
