Peter’s duiker inhabits the dense central African rain forest block between the Atlantic Ocean, Congo, and Ubangi Rivers.
A wide range spans across Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, southern Cameroon, and northern Republic of Congo. This species thrives in thick rainforest vegetation.
Fruit makes up the main portion of the diet for these small antelopes. Leaves, flowers, fungi, and various seeds supply additional nutrients. Browsing on shoots, buds, and tree bark helps fulfill daily food needs. Meat from insects, carrion, rodents, or small birds supplements their nutritional intake.
Peter’s duiker is a reddish brown. This coat is paler on the neck and forequarters. A darker shade covers the back and rump. A fine black dorsal line begins between the shoulders and runs along the spine to the rump. The dark line expands over the rear flanks and includes the tail.

Pete, the Peter’s duiker male skull replica was high-tailing it through the dense forest attempting to escape the zookeeper’s net.
Rudy, the red forest duiker male skull replica, was trying to help Pete escape and was hiding behind a big tree truck throwing soft rotten figs at the zookeeper.
Chloe, the Chinese water deer female skull replica, promptly got her bazooka water gun out and nailed the zookeeper right in the face.
Gus, the Gunther’s dik-dik male skull replica, made a spring-pole snare and caught the zookeeper.
They all laughed at the zookeeper and threw water balloons at him. After a few hours they decided to call the zookeepers’ friends to set him free only because he agreed to let them live the rest of their lives free in the jungles.
